**You are responsible for work missed while you were absent. Major assignments are still due on the assigned due date, even if you are absent (turn it in early/submit online/send to school with a friend or parent/email it to me). The dates of all major assignments are given well in advance. Major writing assignments should be turned in to turnitin.com, so it's easy to submit them from home. Being absent is not an excuse to not submit papers/projects on time.**

**Being absent also does not excuse you from quizzes over readings. Check the date you missed class to see what we read. If you missed any reading in class, you are expected to do it at home. I always have links to at least a PDF of the book/play at the top of each six week's page. Not being in class, or not having a book at home, is not an excuse to not complete the reading.**

turnitin.com - You chose an e-mail and password for the account. If you can't remember the password, you need to choose to reset your password. Please do not make a new account. Remember, if a major writing assignment is NOT turned in on turnitin.com, the highest grade it can receive is a 50.

Make-up Center - If you miss a quiz or test, you will need to make it up in the Make-up Center! It's located in room E2207 and is open before school (7:35-8:55) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and after school (4:30-5:50) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You will have ONE week from the original quiz/test date to make up the test. If it's not completed within a week, the grade will go in as a 0.
