Hello fellow readers and writers! I'm a graduate from the University of Texas (hook 'em!) but am originally from the DFW area. I married my high school sweetheart in the summer of 2016, and we were blessed by the arrival of our first child, Hudson, in April 2018!

I love reading (especially Harry Potter, The Hunger Games Trilogy, and almost anything by Shakespeare), movies that make you think and/or laugh, traveling, and spending quality time with my friends and family!

This year, I hope to pass down my love of literature to my students and encourage their inner writer! I want to inspire you all to be life-long learners and encourage you to believe in yourselves!
